Therapeutic Community is a treatment method for addiction that utilizes the unique social learning dynamics of a community to heal the behavioral, psychological, social, and moral deficits that accompany addictive disorders. It is a well-established method that has been adopted by several countries and for varied treatment populations such as the prisons, juvenile centers, street-children homes, community-based programs, etc. 

This site provides basic information on the TC and offers practical guides to TC practitioners and professionals. Information on training programs for staff and managers and for transferring the TC technology to various settings are available.  Some unique features of this site are the Remote Consulting and Distant Training Program, which are designed to provide support for agencies and professionals and paraprofessionals interested to learn and practice the TC in their own treatment settings.
